I am running Windows 7 and my only complaint is windows view settings. If I change the view in my music to medium icons then all sub folders are the same. I want to have medium icon for my music but when I open have details view. I heard you can open group policy and change it to have it's own view setting but can not figure it out? I hope you can help me because I miss it.

The grouping policy is for grouping of these icons, like if u wanna group ur songs according to artists, then u can. But it is certainly not possible to have different views in subfolders, especially in windows 7.

I'm using Vista and my music folder displays in icon view then sub folders are in detail view... Just how I like it. Why would they remove this for 7?

Hmm, another reason for me *not* to switch anytime soon.
