@Jack,
what software do you use to get your desktop icons on the side..because it reallyclears up the desktop and makes it look tidy!

@xenomex. You wont get it exactly like jacks this way (I think)
Enter "control.color" (without quotes) into a run box
prees Enter
select Advanced
You will find "Icon Spacing" in the drop down menu that starts with "Desktop"

Then you have to rename all the icons with (Alt+255 for the first one. Alt+255 Alt+255 for the second one. and so on))

@aleeve i use both windows blinds(for the theme) and object dock plus(desktop docks). and yes i do play a little bit of fear and cs and every now and then i play half life

@scott actually i have three i have the two normal docks then i have the other one that is a tabbed dock and you can have as many docks as you want in object dock plus it's pretty sweet

@lighthouse the thing you said doesn't give you the same effect as jack's - as you said

anyway - here's my desktop just for the hell of it!

damn why's it so big! can someone resize please!

now here it is with an awesome skin i found - windows blinds rocks jack!

also - i know why it was so big before - i forgot to press apply, sorry!

Aleeve, the size is fine - else it's hard to see details. If you want to resize it, you have to do it before you post it. If it's Photobucket, just double click on the image and then it will give you the option above the image. But don't make it too puny.
Edit: You tricked me, but it's no smaller

Photobucket probably did change the size. For checking post it once without changing the size - you will see the difference. You can always scrap it after the experiment. Full size will probably go to the right edge of the screen.

I am not a big fan of Icon clutter on the desktop - I only retain Icons on items that I am currently working on plus the Icon repository and the bin. I rather enjoy a nice picture and place the Icons into AppLauncher, Quick Launch and Links.

yeah I try to keep mine as uncluttered as poss too, although not as extreeme as whs!
