I am getting these notifications in the right hand corner showing for me to share my stuff with people how do I turn that off so that Windows Media Player will stop searching for available sharing networks.
Thanks,

Tmonkey, click on the little arrow beneath "Library", select "Media sharing..." from the drop-down menu. A Media Sharing window will come up where you can disable "Find media that others are sharing". You can also decide here whether you want "Share my media" on or off.
