WMC pops up by itself and I'm unable to open any exe. program or file. I can't change the defaults or open System Restore, and yes, I've tried to Repair in Safe Mode as well. Notepad, Wordpad won't open either. Scans indicate a clean computer. I'm at my wits end. My email works and my logins also, but I have to type "toshiba.com" in search to get started. Any help would be appreciated. Using Windows 7 Home Premium on a Toshiba laptop w/500GB HD.

I am glad your system is back to normal. You must have been on the wrong forums because the problem was pretty obvious.

If you click that link and then the 'Tutorial' button on that page, you'll find a lot of useful stuff.
