Windows Media Center
(4 posts)I found the file and it's a .wpl file. I copied it and pasted it in my Google Drive. I tried to open it on my other laptop and it doesn't open. It's my understanding that .wpl files do not contain any audio or video data at all. A *.wpl playlist contains only list of songs or other media files and paths to them. Those paths are only accurate on the original computer. So I still don't know how to send this slide show over the internet that it will play on another computer.
See whether Format Factory will convert it to a more suitable format - e.g. MP4. http://www.pcfreetime.com/
Else redo your picture show with either PowerPoint or Windows Live Movie Maker. In those you have a lot of options for even the fanciest picture show. Here is one I once made in PowerPoint and then recorded as a video: https://vimeo.com/4085938
