Having had to re install from scratch everything on my pc, I now find I cannot update my windows media center. It plays fine but when I ask to record using search it tells me there are updates I click accept and a few seconds later it tells me I was successful, only to repeat repeat the process. Can anyone help please?

Thanks for you help guys but Im still drawing a blank tried all of them and still the same reply...does not apply to my system, so idk should I remove it and redownload it? Does it have anything to do with the fact when my graphics card packed up I installed another one, took me a while to figure why windows wouldn't load so I had saved all my stuff etc but it was like a complete new install for the pc and I installed same type graphics card Nvidia 230 instead of a 260. The pc is three years old I cant actually get a graphics card of the original description and I don't know what the mother board specs are. As Im in UK I get your answers the next day but once again thanks and if you have any more suggestions apart from setting fire to the pc LOL please let me know :)

Stella, thanks, got it.

You appear to be very near me. Will arrange time to Teamview.
