Windows Live mail - missing incoming emails

After many years of no problems I have just started to see that some few emails are not being received on my laptop with Windows 7 even tho' I can receive them on my Blackberry phone.
It is not a Spam problem or that I have barred the sender or subject.
Help please.

Check to see if they may have went to the Junk E-mail box.

Thanks for the reply.
No it's not in the Junk email box or in trash or from a banned sender.
The few missing emails are genuinely not being received on my computer but are on my Blackberry phone.
Any further thoughts much appreciated
