(2 posts)The burn process depends on the drive itself, they only operate at the best speed they can to produce a reliable burn. If you try increasing the speed then you would end up with more failed copies.
The long part of the process is usually the encoding, and this can be speeded up by making sure you have loads of RAM (video encoding is one of the most system-intensive processes that a computer can do).
