Windows can't open Add Printer msg

I'm getting a "Windows can't open Add Printer" when I try and add a printer. Why am I getting this error message?
How can I get rid of this message?

Windows Vista Home Premium, SP1,
Dell Inspiron I1720, CPU Intel Core Duo T9300, 4G/B memory, 32 bit.
Laptop on a wireless network.

What is the make and model number of the printer? How is it connected? USB, Wi-Fi, etc.

The printer is a HP Photosmart D7560. It is connected USB on a computer in another room. The Laptop is connected Wi-Fi.
The printer works great with my computer. My computer is runnng XP Pro. The Laptop is running Vista Home Premium.
