windows boot error

i installed the skin pack menu of windows 8 on my computer which was already having windows 7 intalled in it.and since that day it started taking a longer time to boot while showing a dark screen color.i realy like some one to help me fix it because i dont knwo what to do.

Just get rid of that skin pack.

i unistalled it but the starting windows's skin still remained and the problem still persisting

Did you uninstall it or just delete the file? there is a vast difference
