The faster release cycle is common practice in the tablet and smartphone world. Look at Android, they sometimes had 3 releases in a 6 month span. The downside is that you get more bugs because there is not enough time for thorough testing. So we, the customers, are the guinea pigs.

There is a reason why Mercedes has a release cycle of 3 or 4 years for a given model line. You don't get quality for nothing. And the few times they took shortcuts, they fell on their nose.

Having working with Cadillacs, could not agree with you more whs. Cars that just come off the hauler to the dealership have nine updates for the software for their new Que system. Hurry and get them out. They are not ready.
