Windows 8 Upgrade Clean Installs FINE on a pair of SSDs running in Raid 0 plus can Dual Boot using Bios.
ALL Machine Devices Working Properly and Fast.
Setup time is about 12 hours if you have the correct tools and know what you're doing.
Can even boot straight into old desktop by passing Metro altogether if you want to.
Not going to use Windows 7 any longer and just keep an old image around.

I had issues with a clean install of OEM Pro in RAID 1 with a pair of SSDs, so I had to reinstall Win8. After using the fresh install for 6 hours, the next day I could not boot to save my life. Could be my lack of experience needed to correct whatever was wrong, or a somewhat older mobo, I am not sure. In any case Win8 loves those SSDs!!! By the way, has there been a thread about booting right to desktop and bypassing Metro? Granted, a tap of the Windows key is all that u need to do to switch, but.....just asking....
