After finally getting into "safe mode" in Windows 8, the screen is all scewed, I can't get to my programs because the cursor won't go to the left side of the screen.

So, how do I get into a safe mode in windows 8 that I can actually use?

Just as an afterthought: When I change my boot to safe/normal or safe/network and reboot, I don't get the regular black/white screen that offers the option to go into safe mode, just goes into safe mode and I can't do anything with it but go back and change out of boot mode in msconfig

Those are the instructions I followed, tried both of them...both times the black/white safe mode option screen didn't come up...it just boots to a split screen skewed screen that I can do nothing with
