I am almost ready to do the upgrade from Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit to Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, and I have read in a post somewhere in this site that there are two items that are not part of the Windows 7 system, but are free downloads from Microsoft. One involved the "My Pictures" files and one other that I cannot remember. Can someone guide me to where I found this review that discussed this matter ???

You are probably talking about Photo Gallery and Movie Maker from Windows Live. That is a free download. Better have a look at the Live Movie Maker which is quite different (retarded) when compared to the the Vista WMM. But there is a tweak to install the Vista version.
