Hello I've been having some problems with my laptop. Recently a lot of BSOD errors have been popping up on my screen. Because i dont know if how-to-geek will allow me to post minidump files to posts i will try and describe the error code as best as i can.

Filename: hal.dll
Address In Stack: hal.dll+12a3b
From Address: fffff800`031f1000
To Address: fffff800`0323a000
Size: 0x00049000
Time Stamp: 0x4ce7c669

and the second error code
Filename: ntoskrnl.exe
Address In Stack: ntoskrnl.exe+18cb13
From Address: fffff800`02c09000
To Address: fffff800`031f1000
Size: 0x005e8000
Time Stamp: 0x503f82be

I would greatly appreciate it if anybody could decode this and sort of explain what i need to do to resolve this. PS if there IS a way to send minidump files on how-to-geek i will gladly supply it.

believe me or not, but i had same problems yesterday.

during burning the RHEL5 dvd Nero crashed and process did not end anyhow. tried restart and it did not work either. afterwards i kept getting BSOD-s.

turned off wifi (dell latitude 6520) and checked memory with pre-boot diagnostics. later removed ESET and some other software which i had installed during 2 days and BSOD-s disappeared. (had 17 of em and was already losing my mind)

Then you might have a hardware failure. Try to disable everything before boot.
Tough to find out what makes the conflicts.

bluescreenviewer (application i used) gives plenty of information. Unfortunately my comp gave BSOD rightaway after i logged to Windows. Means i was not able even to save minidump.

Comp did not boot in safemode (stopped at classpnp.sys) and having a crypted harddrive. :)

@jimhudame - If you can open the minidump file then simply Copy/Paste its contents into the Reply box at the bottom of this page.
