I read here that I could use an older driver, but I don't know how to install an older driver. In red are my audio drivers.

Welcome to HTG,
Why do you want to use an old driver? All that's asking for is problems, drivers are updated so that you have updates.

Because newer drivers usually don't have Stereo Mix.

What device or devices are you trying to use to get Stereo Mix?

And if it's important, I'm using a laptop. not a desktop.

The NVIDIA item is your graphics card so you aren't going to be routing ANY sound through that UNLESS your PC has an HDMI port, then sound will only travel through the HDMI port to the device you have it plugged into (such as a TV).

Is Sound Blaster built in or is it an external device?

Built in, and my laptop has both HDMI in and out, but I am not using them as of right now.

There is only one audio driver available for your laptop so what you have is all you can get. I found this on the Dell Driver page for your laptop.

Probably not the answer you wanted to hear, however you can try looking through the products listed here. They are USB Sound Cards that you can just plug in and use. You may find what you want, you may not.
