I a planning on buying the full version of Windows 7 soon, and stop using the RC. On the Microsoft website it says that Home Premium does have backup and restore, but it cannot backup to a network. I do not need to backup to a network, but I may need to backup to an external hard drive. Does Home Premium have a backup and restore feature? because I will probably need them.

Hi steveg2a, have a look here. If you are just wanting to backup music, pictures and documents to an external HDD then you don´t really need to use the backup and restore. Just drag and drop the files to your HDD or you could use the copy to/move to from here at HTG to make life easier for yourself. Matt

EDIT: Yes, Home Premium does include the backup and restore, just not in a network, an external HDD wouldn´t be considered as a network device.
