After reading the articular about unhidding unwanted drivers for old hardware I thought I had solved my problems with my mouse cursor randomly freezing or disappearing. I found a ps/2 compatible icon under my USB icon for my wireless mouse. After uninstalling the device every thing was fine and I was amazed at my computers improved performance. However after rebooting my mouse cursor is back to the random freezing and jumping. So I tried to disable the hardware detection in My Win 7 Services list. This has had not effect. I now have to keep remembering to disabling and or uninstalling the ps/2 compatible device icon for my mouse to work normally. I have tried unsitalling and rebooting to many times
