I upgraded from Vista Home to Windows 7 Premium. When i try to activate desktop gadgets I get gadgets administrated by system administrator.
I know how to activate Administrator account but I don't know how to change the group policy to allow my id to administer gadgets. Is it possible

windows 7 desktop gadgets managed by administrator
(6 posts)The settings for Gadgets in Group Policy are [ Not Configured ] so that means there should be NO restrictions.

Have 3 manuals concerning Win7 but haven't had a chance to read them as they are 2 inches thick a piece. (lol)

Here are a couple of How-Tos on HTG which may help you find things in Win7.
I use the first one but both are very good.
