Windows 7 and Vista

Has anyone dual boot their computer with vista and windows 7 that is what i am trying to do but when i try to shrink my partition with the built in tool in vista i get an error saying access is denied can anyone help with this problem thanks

Tropical, hello. A dual boot of Win7 and Vista can be done. I have Win7 dual booting with XP on a computer here.

I assume that you are using Disk Management in Vista. Do you have an admin account? What do the partitions look like and which one are you trying to shrink? Read this article by The Geek for related information:
