How to maximize a window in Windows 7

Lorrmac, you can maximize windows by hitting the windows key + the up arrow or by using the maximize/restore down button in the top left corner of every window.

If you've minimized a window to the taskbar, clicking it will restore it as with earlier versions of Windows.

Also 2 other ways, double click on the TOP BAR of the window or DRAG the top bar off the top of the screen (you see a shadow frame appear on the entire desktop when it is enabled) and release the mouse after the desktop frame appears.

Double clicking on the top bar will return it to the original window size.

I just started an HP Windows 7 machine. To run my compiler I need to login as admin. How do I do this?
Also, What commands reset the date and time?
