Running Windows XP Home on a Gateway laptop

When I try to open a downloaded file I get the error message, Windows cannot access the specified device, file, or path.

is it all downloaded files or just one? also how did you download the file(P2P, BitTorrent, or just off the web?)

It was AVG Free Anti Virus off the Web.

I would suggest trying to download it again from http://free.grisoft.com/ww.download?prd=afe

It could be a .zip folder that you first have to unzip (extract files).

i used to have an error like this before when we were still using dial-up, while downloading, my connection will get cut off, the file is where i placed it and it's showing the correct size, but when i try to run/open it, i get the same error, hope this helps.
