On my Win8 Pro system with no home group and "file and printer sharing" turned off, the file explorer (and right click context menu "share with") shows an active "stop sharing" icon on the share ribbon on many folders, the icon remain active also after clicking. The right click context menu properties/sharing tab shows "not shared" on the same folder. Stopping the two homegroup services does not help. Any idea how I can have a consistent ribbon stop sharing icon!
