(Solved) - Win8 CP on XP Machine?

Can I install the Win8 CP .iso onto a machine running XP with a Virtual Machine installed.

Amerisphere, I doubt this will really work for you.
The best way to beta test is with an up to date machine and clean installed.
I did try on a Acer 6yr old machine and it just slugged.

So I think, in your scenario, the answer is a NO.

Your saying the Acer was running XP and you tried Win8 Cp on it with a clean install and that was sluggish?
How bout if Win8 CP was installed into MS Virtual Machine 2007 SP1 running on a Dell Optiplex GX260 / XP Pro?

That is a very different question.
the Acer was a dead machine (xp) and I installed 8 clean, it did not work for me.
I don't run beta OS in VM

OK, thank you. I think I have my answer. When I try Win8 in the VM on the Dell Optiplex running XP, I'll let you know what happens.

hello, i install windows 8 vhd disk , and i want to copy to flash memory,when computer restart and i select boot from usb , it does not boot , please introduce a soft ware for bootable flash, tnx
