How to create iso win7 image file from original disk

Hi I'm new on these fourms download
img burn then put your cd in and launch img burn and select "create image file from dvd that's it

why would you want to burn an .iso image of an original disk? if its for piracy thats not tolerated on this forum!!!!!

You can use an iso to install a vm, keep a backup of the dvd...there are many reasons to have an iso.

Once upon a time, Microsoft recommended you copy your system disks, use the copies, and keep the originals in a safe place. A practice I adhere to, to this day.

i just did one of win.7 in case mine gets damaged,you cant go back to the shop and say'' hey mate i stepped on it ''

I back-up all of my Music, Videos & software. Why pay for it twice if something goes wrong?

I use ImgBurn where possible.
