Came home to find chrome crashed. Closed and rebooted. Would not reboot. Windows 7 message from Startup Repair
Root cause found:
Boot configuration is corrupt.
Repair action: Partition table repair
Result: Failed. Error code = 0x490
Time taken = 1388 ms
Windows 7 came preloaded on computer so I have no disks.
Please Help. I have no idea why this happened or how to repair.

You will need the windows repair disk or the installation disk to be able to use the link above.
If this is a factory setup system you should have a recovery partition that is accessable when you boot. Don't know the make or model but on most systems you need to start tapping the F8 or F10 key as soon as you push the power on button. This should open an advanced boot screen with several options, one being to reset system to original factory settings.
If you do attempt a factory recovery you will lose all of your data.
You can download this and copy your data to an external storage device until you get your system up and running
