If you want to learn how to operate a tablet, Windows 8 is a good exercise. If you only want to operate a PC, Windows 7 is a better choice.

If you still use Windows XP or Vista then it is good to upgrade to Windows 8.

Personally I like Windows 8 after tweaking it to my liking. Best to do a fresh install rather than an upgrade.

OK, thanks guys. Think I will stay on 7. I'm not into tabs yet and just over the 7 curve.
