Under Windows 7 with Office/Outlook 2003 installed, any emails shown in the results of Windows Search won't open by double-clicking them. Windows Search briefly tries to open them (outlook 2003 icon briefly flickering) but then nothing happens (also no error message appears). You can also not delete the email from the list or copy-paste it into another outlook email (word 2003 is my default email editor). You can however copy-past it into the windows explorer (paste it on the desktop for example)

Other outlook 2003 documents (word, excel) open fine...

It seems like an add-in or service connection with Outlook 2003 is missing ? Very annoying as this makes Windows Search totally useless.

what is happening ?
