I loved using Windows 7 Beta.
Naturally, I installed Windows 7 RC as soon it was released.
Kaspersky's KIS 2009 had worked fine with Win 7 Beta. But with RC got some incompatibilty msg.
So I installed kavwks8.0.0.1081en that's meant for RC.
Problem is Win 7 RC + KAV 8.0 Beta combine freezes my Compaq Pressario Laptop.
Tried uninstal/format/reinstal etc but of no avail.
Wrote to Kaspersky support and got a stupid reply. Escalated the matter to higher level. Reply awaited.
Meanwhile, anyone with any experience on this topic?
