Hi all, I just got a copy of Windows 7 Beta build (due to be released in a few days) from an IT friend of mine today and was wondering how I should install it? Should I dual boot (install on a seperate drive) and what could be the worst case scenario if it all went wrong? Matt

It works pretty well, but you should note that it requires activation after 30 days (although you can extend that), and it has a hard cut-off date when it will stop working entirely (aug 1st).

Windows 7 is roughly just Windows Vista with a new taskbar, a few updated screens, and UAC is mostly disabled by default.

Thx Geek. So, should I dual boot, is this done easily?

Dual booting or installing into a virtual machine if you can... definitely don't use it as your primary system yet, just because of the expiration factor.
