I have an old MSI K8MV V barebones tower which a friend built for me many years ago, I am thinking of gutting it and building a gaming machine but not sure if the case will accomadate an Asus MB. I'm trying to save bucks an plan on using the existing power supply ( Thermaltake TR2-430), dvd drives and case fans. I plan on Intel i5 5750k on an Asus PZ68-V Pro gen 3 with 16 gb ddr3 and EVGA Nvidia GTX560 Ti 1gb and 500gbHDD any thoughts?

PZ68 Intel Chipset is actually a SECOND Generation motherboard.
Vendors kinda misled folks by tacking [gen3] on the motherboard names.

What you need is a Z75/Z77 Intel Chipset motherboard which is real generation THREE motherboard.

OK Thanks I guess it will fit the case? Wasn't sure if an MSI AMD case was compatible.

ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard is generation THREE.

The covers on the motherboard are just for decoration.

The motherboard is one of the first generation 3 released and has good reviews on the FEEDBACK TAB.

It has NO Build-in Wifi or Blue Tooth capability.
