Why does my toolbar sometimes disappear?

Sometimes my toolbar disappears, and I have a full page view only, I have to reboot to get it back. How do I get my tool and search bars back on without rebooting?

Have you tried F11 or double clicking on the top edge of the window?

Just found this for you it's worth a try:

TaskBar is set to Auto Hide

To Disable TaskBar Auto Hide feature

Open Taskbar and Start Menu Properties
by clicking the Start button
or the Vista Globe

click Control Panel,

click Appearance and Personalization,
or Personalization in Vista

Next click Taskbar and Start Menu
in the lower left corner of this window if using Vista

Remove the check mark for Auto-hide the Taskbar
then click OK.
