Everything else is the same, my browser and ip, since I got a new computer with Vista I am No longer able to grabb, snag, capture or whatever you want to call it pictures or graphics from websites. For almost twenty years I have done this to aid in our business. S

I don't know what you mean by grab, snag or capture. But usually you can either Copy/Paste (but this is often not possible) or you use the Snipping Tool (in accessories) to snip and "save as.." - ends up in Pictures. If you save them in PNG format, you get a decent quality.

I'm not sure either but I have a guess.
Do you mean right clicking on pictures and clicking "Save Picture As"?
If so is then answer the following questions:
Does it happen on all web sites or just some?
Is the problem that the right click menu doesn't appear?
Is the problem that when you click "Save Pictures As" you get an error message?
Or is it something completely different?

Yes I do mean right clicking "Save Picture As" and the choices are Art or BITMAP, no jpeg or PNG option. When I save in either of the above I get a blank page. It happens on all sites including my own. I get no error message. When trying to open, I get "Photo Gallery can't open this picture or video. The file appears to be damaged or corrupted"
