Thanks Rick, I saw similar articles in my local PC press before. The essential sentence was:" Intel's Tulley said "many" companies like Acer are in the process of developing ultraportable devices based on the new Atom chips". I think one should wait until later in the year for a bigger selection - and the prices will come down too. At this moment I would favor the MSI Wind but I would really wait for a Vista version. The HP does not use the Atom chip and the Via processor is not that great - at least if I can believe the tests. Thanks for forwarding this.

@ehs,

Asus (IS) using the Atom Processor.

Thought that was good.

They are always on the cutting edge.

Asus is certainly a serious outfit and they use Atom. I just don't like to get stuck with Linux or it's derivatives or with XP. Linux does not have enough support and XP is a window to the past.
