(Solved) - White line in the bottom of right-click menus

Hello there!

In all Windows menus and right-click menus the option or menu in the far bottom has white line on the bottom, about 2 mm thick.
My Paint imitation of what it looks like:

It dissapears on mouseover.
Any ideas what's causing this?

Sounds like a device driver (video) artifact? Do you have the latest video driver?

Do you mean the ATI driver? I have a ATI video card.
If so, or if not, where can I find the latest drivers?

This happens when I try to install the file from Dell's support site. I have the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570, and downloaded a file that was supposed to be compatible with that.
The installer says that it has error code 110. What do I do?

Just noticed i didn't fill the operating system box. No Win 7 32 bit??? What will I do?

Try the ATI.COM site and see if they have a driver. Dell's are alway's not at the latest level and old, and they rarely update them. Best always switching to OEM's video drivers to stay up to date and avoid problems. At least that is what I've learned over time.

I've been to that site. It says this:

Note: The Mobility Radeon ATI Catalyst drivers for Windows 7 are beta and are only available for Windows 7 beta releases. For up to date Mobility Radeon graphics drivers for Windows 7, please contact your laptop manufacturer.

I assumed that would be Dell.

It feels like I've tried everything, nothing has worked so far. Since it works normal in Firefox and Skype, i think it has something to do with Windows. It also doesn't work in iTunes, uTorrent, CCleaner, 7-Zip and more. Is it something within the registry editor that CCleaner possibly screwed up?
Does anyone have a different angle to attack the problem? :)

Try uninstalling, then reinstalling one of the programs it doesn't work on. Uninstall with Revo (using Advanced option for maximum effect),

I dont think you're getting the point here. It works NORMALLY in Firefox and Skype. The problem lies (as far as I know) within WINDOWS, and programs that uses the windows menu coding or something. This means I would have to reinstall Windows entirely... sigh...

It was as easy as changing the theme... Maybe I messed with the advanced appearance options too much (type "window colors and metrics" in the search box).
I'll be more careful from now on.
