HHDs: 2x2TB 7200RPM
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad
RAM: 3GB DDR3
PSU: 500w
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 430

Sorry for the late reply.

I have done some research and found out that:
EXT4: Linux
NTFS: Windows
HFS: Macintosh

Best for media: FAT/FAT32.
Best for partitioning: depends on the operating system you want to install.
Best for general use: FAT/FAT32.
Best for speed: depends on the operating system you want to install.
Best for reliability: FAT/FAT32.
