Hi Folks!

Might be just me, but I have a feel there are a lot of people missing these past days!
I've been bumping posts up till page 4, that never got an answer.
Is this a special weekend or something?
Or is everybody tired and trying to survive work and hope they will make it till the fall-holiday? LOL.
I miss you guys!
And must admit - I'm one of the worst myself. Life gets in the way sometimes ...

Hope you are all alright and that I will see you back soon ;)

Goodnight!
Sarah.

Hi Sarah, I'm still here but busy trying to put my class for my computer club together (I was too lazy all summer). So HTG gets lower priority at this time - sorry.

That's alot of bumping Sarah :) I wish I was more helpful. I want to be but I only know so much about computers - most of which I learned from you guys :)

whs, speaking of where is everybody, are you back in the sunshine state? I'm also curious about your class. What do you teach and can I join online?

Hi Oma,

Normally I also only post in topics I have a clue about - I know some of computers, but only learn what I have a use for myself <LOL>. And me too: most of it learned here;)

techgranny, I am still working on my class. As I said, I was lazy over the summer, but since it is planned for after Christmas, I'll be able to manage. The class is about mostly very basic stuff. The people in my computer club (about 650 members) are by en large retires (a lot of ladies) and beginners. During the various club meetings I noticed that a lot of them are struggeling with simple things. But I also worked in a few more advanced things so that the more experienced people do not get bored.
I document every step of the class in a pdf which I will upload. It will be about 80 pages when everything is said and done. I include all the links for programs and references that I refer to. Plus I will make video captures of everything which is going to be linked in the pdf also - 4 parts because there are 4 chapters. Once it's done, I will post the link to the document here. Then you can download it and see whether it is something you can use.
BTW: I will go back to FL on Nov. 10.

LH, the weather is so, so. But I still have a lot of things to do - unfortunately mainly doctor and dentist appointments. That's no fun.

whs, 650 members? That's a big club! I look forward to your documentation. Remind me when you link it so I don't forget. Thanks!

OK, I will. But it will not be before another 8 weeks or so. And yes, our club is pretty big. And that is only one of two computer clubs in town (we are really not a town because we are still being run by the county - people did not want the extra taxes, which was smart). Here is a link to our club news.

If anyone wonders where I have been recently (doubt it though), I have started college so won't be on here as much as I was in August due to summer break. Of course, I shall still visit here often. I didn't want you to think I was "inactive" or not bothering.

:-D

I did miss you, Jordan ;)
But no, I never thought you were 'not bothering'.
It was just that all of a sudden a lot of regulars were far less around.
People come and go on a forum, and some have a lot of time at one period and not at another,
but it was a bit spooky to see a lot of people 'disappear' around the same time <LOL>.
Glad to know you're ok;)
