There's a whole list of pictures when you go to the choose a new account picture thing, but where are they actually stored on the drive?

It's the picture that is shown when you login on the welcome screen, and on the start menu.

Open a command prompt, and go into this directory:

C:\windows\winsxs\

If you type this command:

dir *usertiles*

Then you should see the following two folders:

C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-usertiles_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6000.16386_none_955a072792f10710
C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-usertiles-client_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6000.16386_none_275f21681c03592c

I'm not sure if your folders would be different, which is why I said to go to the command prompt. The first one should contain all the default pictures, and the second one contains the guest and default user picture (that flower).
