I have looked all over for a tool that cleans up clutter, junk files, erases browser history and cookies as well as fixing the registry. Yes, I want it to keep the registry clean. I know that it is not an easy answer --At least I haven't found one yet! If someone has that answer or an educated suggestion, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!!!

ccleaner you really don't need to worry about cleaning the registry.
then run defraggler and you should be good to go

I use W7's defragger scheduled weekly, and ccleaner nearly as often. Got to keep those files from cluttering up your HDD.

Here are some suggestions for optimizing Win7: http://www.sevenforums.com/tut.....s-7-a.html

But I would not muck with the registry. That is really counterproductive in Win7.

Defragmenter is on by default in Windows 7 and it does the job good. I would set the defragger to a specific time then you won't have periodic system slowdowns because of it which you will do if left at default to run in the background as and when. Either that or turn it off and use Defraggler.
