i use both but chose vista because it has more features i use, i.e., windows mail, calendar, movie maker, etc. i really don't see much difference in the two.
at0mic, Windows 7 has those too. They were just moved to the Windows Live features.
TBH, Windows 7 is better due to lower resource usage and other features added (Sticky Notes, Snap, etc).
Apparentally u can download TV for free with Windows 7 (and not Vista) is that correct?? I dont use a TV tuner card? - link below (hopefully)
jon, yes. but windows live is a horrible mess of extra junk and the movie maker is so striped down it useless.
jack, you can get free tv from wmc but the selection is very limited
