Hi there,

I'm searching for a good use for my Ubuntu PPC Mac Mini G4, and I was thinking of a webserver. I am in Wordpress development, and my dad likes to tinker around a little bit with webtech. Instead of using a separated Xampp server on our machines, I would like to use the Mini as a Webserver that my dad and I can access if we are on the network.

We're using pretty standard D-link hubs, if that is any help.

This may help: Accessing localhost (xampp) from another computer over LAN network - how to?

Essentially, if you can set a static IP for the mini, just add a line in the HOSTS file on each of the other computers, which points to the mini's static IP.
