my Dell 1520 came with Vista preinstalled. i'm having a difficult time making the webcam work with any IMs i used. yes i know how to make it work but it is difficult. i'm wondering whether those Dell laptops owners (if anyone here is) whose laptops came shipped with linux preinstalled have the same problems i am having?

if so, what apps you're using to make the IM work with the webcam?
