want to set gmail as default

in control panel>internet opts>connections>programs>email I get to specify which program windows auto uses for each internet service-my choices are aol9.0, outlook express, or windows live hotmail-don't want to use any of these-want to use gmail-how do I do this?

Hi frizmart, I've never heard of a way to set gmail as your default. There is this handy application that sits in your task bar so you can always check it.

have to tried to under your view tab, select webpage privacty poilicy, click on settings then click general tab, type in that email address/gmail.com in the box provided then select "use default "! i'm not sure if it will work but try it and see what happens

What browser are you using? You can set GMAIL as you default for mail to links.
