Well, JadeEmperor - just for you: I'll stick to my jade-green. LOL LOL LOL

It is true, you know, the colour I use used to be called jade-green, though I couldn't find the exact colour as I made last time (and I forgot the number ...). It's now called a stone colour. They have a whole range of them.
So I've picked lighter and darker variations to the same theme.

iLOL. was also thinking painting my room a different color but can't decide if i'll really paint it or just roll up some paper so that i can change the "theme" whenver i feel like it.

sorry for the OT back there. didn't notice where i were.

OT: Happens a lot on HTG - is part of it's charm:)

I miss the theme of my old room, can't wait till I have these walls done, but it is not something I can do all in one go. I'm still changing my mind about how I want things, so till I'm sure I don't do much!
Took me 2 months to find out I still prefer my old colour over everything else. Here's part of why:
(note: colour is not true to reality, but I don't have a better photo LOL)

This is my old desk - too small now, so I want to rebuild it in a bigger and better way.
No more wireless LAN that has to hang around somewhere.
And I LOVE wooden chairs.

Cheers,
Sarah.

Whoahhhh, that is coming darn close to what I have in mind! LOL LOL LOL LOL

Only mine will be in wood, like an old English desk / colonial desk, but build all around me.
So, like this in colour and I'd love to get the doors like the closet, but it's model like the Aura LOL

What is that machine called, where you strap yourself in (spread-eagled), and you can move round 360° in 3 planes ? Please, please ?

I féél rich:)

But hey - the above is NOT my desk, just pictures of what I'm striving to achieve in looks! LOL

And I'm blessed to be able to get done what I have in mind, but money is in short supply as always ... LOL
Trick is, Rick, if you do everything yourself you can make it as beautiful as you like to;-D
(downside is, it usually takes a lot longer to get it done ...)

So I've fixed the toilet myself, gonna tile the bedroomfloor myself, and the garden; rebuild the kitchen, because the sink doesn't work right and the tap leaks and the fridge is in the wrong place and, and, and ...
And I'm doing the walls right now and I don't have closets like the one above, but a "home system" as they are called nowadays. From Monta.
So I don't have room to store stuff till I've build it up again, but before I can do that I have to add some new panels and paint the whole lot - and the bedroom floor needs to be done, before I can put up anything anyway ...
And I'm a neatfreak and I've been living in this 'campsite' for three months now, so the serene picture of your dreams is not quite how I'm feeling right now .... LOL!

Cheers!
Sarah.

Bartman, good man, you're on my wavelength. Now how are we going to fit Sarah's "old age" workstation into one of those gyroscopic thingies ? (servo and motor controlled of course (for the ultimate experiences) ?
