hi all
when i tried to set any kind of image as wallpaper i get this : "this image can't be set as wallpaper , an internal error occured"
1. it comes when i use "windows photo viewer" (the default program)
2. from internet explorer "set as background" doesnt work either - no error massages but nothing happens....
3. the regular way (right click on desktop - personalize- desktop background...) not working - no error massages but nothing happens
4. third party software (for example : InfraView) works - but i must solve it - i cant set any windows theme as well , etc .
i tried to reinstall the display driver , i played with the graphic setting over and over , google , system restore ( were no relevant restore points) , nothing...
thanks in advance ,
Avi .

If you tried both of my suggestions, I don't have answer except to Clean Install or Restore the system.
---
Running in Pure Administrator Mode should give you all privileges but you still get an error which I
[ cannot duplicate ] on my machine.

Let's see if others may have an answer.

same problem with solution from different forum link: http://windows7forums.com/wind.....paper.html
The part that worked for them.
Boot from the Windows 7 DVD, run the repair function and this should resolve your issue. Should you require additional assistance, Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 Support Forum located here Windows 7 Category. It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to also check the threads there for additional support.
