I have quite a problem. I just installed new Windows 7 Ultimate on my Vaio VGN-AW 21 S/B notebook and the os don't recognise my graphic card: GeForce 9600M GT. It uses a Standard VGA card which obviously isn't the one i have in there .
As i red, it's an often experienced problem with this graphic card. Anyway, I didn't find a way to solve this.
Afer some forums research, i found that the problem came from an invalid "ID number" or something like that in the driver.

I already tried to install the latest drivers from Nvidia but nothing works, it just says that "Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware".

Anyone already experienced that or know a way to solve this?

See ya!

apparently, vaio computers have a different driver written, for some reason.
you need to go to the sony website and get the driver for that specific model.
