volume control not working

I HAVE WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE build

my volume control of headphone and keyboard wont work but all other normal keys are working even sleep key is working but no multimedia keys are working.

PLEASE HELP HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you install your keyboard driver. You may have a generic driver that W7 installed automatically. But that will most likely not account for those special keys.

I have a microsoft wireless keyboard / mouse combo,and my volume/mute buttons did not work until I installed
IntelliType pro ,obviously brand specific,however everything worked as soon as it was installed,and my macros
that I had backed up worked like a charm.
That all said I agree with WHS
