Host: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
Guest: Windows XP Pro SP2

While the keyboard in the host window works perfect, many
special keys are wrongly mapped in the guest window.
(eg '+' and '!' exchanged).
I copied the keyboard driver from an XP Machine; same key-
board; same OS; without success.
Does anyone have a solution?

oldie, hi.

Have you tried the region in control panel on the guest?

You may need to delete the existing region profile for the KB to work.

Thank you for the help, vistamike.
The region profile was already correctly selected
during installation.
After deletion and reselection the problem was solved.
