Hello everybody, I'm new from here. Now, I have a problem from my laptop (HP dv2520).
The build-in card reader cannot work in Windows XP.

My laptop's orignal OS is Vista. After that, I format it and reinstall XP on it.
And follow the instruction to install all the device driver http://www.howtogeek.com/forum.....sta/page/2

After that, I insert SD card to card reader but nothing happen.

Please Help.

I have looked over the drivers from hp
Vista: Driver here
XP: NOT AVAILABLE!

Conclusion:
A Driver for XP has never been made!

Try the manufacturers site of the cardreader.

I have 2 Dell machines. Dell did not make the cardreaders in those !
Take it out and have a look.

Very strange. All drivers are installed properly (no any question mark show in Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager)

Is it the procedure to downgrade from Vista to XP sould like that......

1. Complete install Vista on HP laptop
2. Use XP CD to downgrade it in a same Directory
3. Install all necessary driver if XP missing
4. Finished ??

Does anyone give me some suggestion to install / downgrade to XP.

Thanks
