wait..Beta is out alreaddy right? i heard that the final will come out in 2010 http://www.engadget.com/2008/0.....ill-gates/
where could i find the download to get W7 Beta?
dose it work from XP to Windows7 or do i need Vista to upgrade it to 7?

humm.. i was just reading online and i heard from many people saying that it will be an upgrade from Vista, not a clean install. you could be right Rick, who knows.

From the original post on this by Scott (Mod), the article referenced is probably referring to a free (UPGRADE) Version of Win7 in (2) SKUs as opposed to a (Full) OEM or Retail Version.

The Win7 download is a (Full) (Timed Limited) (Beta) Version of the O/S to my knowledge which should be Clean Installed and configured as Dual Boot or Primary O/S.

Rick is right - it is a full installation disk. The time limit is apparently August 09.
